Artist: Paul Shreeve
Born in the small village of Mautby, a few miles from Great Yarmouth, Paul was educated at the local grammar school and spent his career in teaching.
A self-taught artist, Paul works in all mediums but prefers pastels either on their own or in conjunction with water colour or acrylics.
Paul's main subject is the countryside and coastline of Norfolk. Famous for its wide skies, idyllic rural landscapes and the timelessness of the Broads, Paul tries to capture these in his paintings which are simply stated, yet full of atmosphere.
Paul has had several solo exhibitions and his work hangs in private collections, not only in this country, but as far afield as America and Australia.
Paul also takes commissions on various subjects especially animals.
Paul became a member of the Great Yarmouth and District Society of Artists in 2005.
