Eddie was born in Norfolk in 1952 and developed his love of marshes and the Norfolk countryside during his childhood. He has a strong interest in ecology, conservation and animal welfare and enjoys the outdoor life.

Eddie studied Graphic Design at the Gt. Yarmouth College of art and has developed his interest in landscape painting from this period. His interest in conservation lends itself to the country scenes he paints.

He spends a great deal of time observing the countryside and the effects of nature and its many different moods. In 1987 his oil painting of Halvergate Marshes was selected for the James Paget Hospital Trust Christmas Card.

Eddie is married with two children and is a member of the Gt. Yarmouth & District Society of Artists.
